Al-Haaqqah 2 of 2

BUT NAY! I call to witness all that you can see, 38 And that which ye see not. 39 This Qur’an is the speech of Allah with a gracious Noble Messenger. 40 and is not - however little you may [be prepared to] believe it - the word of a poet; 41 Nor is it the word of a soothsayer. Little is it that you reflect! 42 It has been sent down by the Lord of all the worlds. 43 And if he had invented false sayings concerning Us, 44 We assuredly had taken him by the right hand 45 And then severed his life-artery, 46 And not one of you would have been able to stop (Us). 47 It is really a reminder for those who fear God and follow the straight path. 48 We certainly know that some among you will give the lie to it, 49 It is surely the nemesis of unbelievers. 50 yet it is a certain truth. 51 So glorify the name of your Lord Most Great. 52
