Al-Haaqqah 2 of 2
No! I swear by that you see 38 and by what you do not see, 39 That it is indeed the speech of an illustrious messenger. 40 And it is not the speech of a poet; how little do you believe! 41 Nor the word of a soothsayer; little do you remember. 42 It has been sent down by the Lord of all the worlds. 43 Now if he [whom We have entrusted with it] had dared to attribute some [of his own] sayings unto Us, 44 We would have seized him by the right hand, 45 Then would have cut off his heart’s artery. 46 And there is no one of you who could prevent [Us] from him. 47 But verily this is a Message for the Allah-fearing. 48 We know that there are some among you who will belie. 49 it will be a source of bitter regret for those who deny the truth -- 50 And most surely it is the true certainty 51 Wherefore hallow thou the name of thy Lord, the Mighty. 52
