I swear by that which ye see. 38 And what ye see not, 39 most surely, this is the word brought by a noble messenger, 40 It is not the speech of a poet little do you believe 41 and neither is it - however little you may [be prepared to] take it to heart - the word of a soothsayer: 42 It is a revelation sent down by the Sustainer of the Universe: 43 And if he had forged concerning us some discourses. 44 We would have seized him by the right hand 45 then We would surely have cut his life-vein 46 And not one of you could have withheld Us from him. 47 And verily, this Quran is a Reminder for the Muttaqun (pious - see V. 2:2). 48 And lo! We know that some among you will deny (it). 49 And indeed it (this Quran) will be an anguish for the disbelievers (on the Day of Resurrection). 50 Certainly it is a Truth of absolute certainty. 51 So glorify your Lord, the most supreme. 52
