I do not need to swear by what you see 38 and what you do not see 39 That this is verily the word of an honoured Messenger [i.e. Jibrael (Gabriel) or Muhammad SAW which he has brought from Allah]. 40 It is not the speech of a poet little do you believe 41 Nor the word of a soothsayer; little do you remember. 42 It is a Revelation from the Lord of the worlds. 43 Had Muhammad invented some words against Us. 44 We would have caught hold of him by his right hand 45 Then We would have cut from him the aorta. 46 and not one of you would have been able to withhold Us from doing so. 47 And verily, this [Qur'an] is a reminder to all the God-conscious! 48 And verily We! We know that some among you are beliers thereof. 49 And most surely it is a great grief to the unbelievers. 50 And lo! it is absolute truth. 51 So glorify the name of your Lord Most Great. 52
