So I swear by whatsoever you see, 38 and what you do not see 39 Behold, this [Qur'an] is indeed the [inspired] word of a noble apostle, 40 And it is not the word of a poet; little do you believe. 41 Nor is it the word of a soothsayer. Little is it that you reflect! 42 It is a revelation sent down by the Sustainer of the Universe: 43 Had he invented sayings against Us, 44 We would have caught hold of him by his right hand 45 And We should certainly then cut off the artery of his heart: 46 and none of you could have held Us off from him. 47 And surely it is an admonition to the God-fearing. 48 And indeed, We know that among you are deniers. 49 and surely it will be a cause of regret for the unbelievers. 50 This is the Truth beyond any doubt. 51 Wherefore hallow thou the name of thy Lord, the Mighty. 52
