But nay! I swear by all that ye see 38 and by what you do not see, 39 that this is the speech of an honourable Messenger, 40 and is not - however little you may [be prepared to] believe it - the word of a poet; 41 Nor is it the word of a soothsayer (or a foreteller), little is that you remember! 42 Sent down by the Lord Of The Creation. 43 And had he fabricated just one matter upon Us – 44 We would have seized him by his right hand, 45 then We would surely have cut his life-vein 46 not one of you could have prevented it from him. 47 Surely it is a Good Counsel for the God-fearing. 48 We know very well that there are some among you who reject Our signs -- 49 And indeed, it will be [a cause of] regret upon the disbelievers. 50 yet indeed it is the truth of certainty. 51 So glorify the name of your Lord, the Almighty. 52
