But nay! I swear by all that ye see 38 And what ye see not, 39 because the Quran is certainly the word of a reverent messenger. 40 It is not the speech of a poet little do you believe 41 Nor is it the speech of a sooth-sayer. Little are ye admonished. 42 It has been revealed by the Lord of the Universe. 43 Now if he [whom We have entrusted with it] had dared to attribute some [of his own] sayings unto Us, 44 We would have caught hold of him by his right hand 45 And then certainly should have cut off his life artery (Aorta), 46 and not one of you could have defended him. 47 And verily, this Quran is a Reminder for the Muttaqun (pious - see V. 2:2). 48 We certainly know that some of you have rejected it 49 yet, behold, this [rejection] will indeed become a source of bitter regret for all who deny the truth [of God's revelation] 50 And lo! it is absolute truth. 51 So glorify the name of your Lord Most Great. 52
