But what is the matter with the unbelievers, that they strain their glances continuously towards them, 36 [To sit] on [your] right and [your] left in separate groups? 37 Does every man of them desire that he should be made to enter the garden of bliss? 38 No, that is not like that! Verily, We have created them out of that which they know! 39 I swear by the Lord of the easts and the wests that We have the power 40 to replace them by others who would be better than they; and We shall certainly not be overpowered. 41 So leave them to their vain disputes and amusement till they meet their day (of reckoning) promised them, 42 The day on which they shall come forth from their graves in haste, as if they were hastening on to a goal, 43 Their eyes cast down; disgrace shall overtake them; that is the day which they were threatened with. 44
