What aileth those who disbelieve, that they keep staring toward thee (O Muhammad), open-eyed, 36 In crowds, right and left? 37 Does every one of them desire to enter the bountiful Paradise? 38 Never! We have indeed created them from a thing they know. 39 But nay! I call to witness the Lord of the Easts and the Wests, that We have the power 40 To bring better people than they in their place; and they will not be able to thwart Us. 41 So leave them to plunge in vain talk and play about, until they encounter that Day of theirs which they have been promised!- 42 The day when they come forth from the graves in haste, as racing to a goal, 43 With their eyes lowered in fear and humility, ignominy covering them (all over)! That is the Day which they were promised! 44
