What aileth those who disbelieve, that they keep staring toward thee (O Muhammad), open-eyed, 36 On the right and on the left, in companies? 37 What, is every man of them eager to be admitted to a Garden of Bliss? 38 No! Indeed, We have created them from that which they know. 39 But nay! I swear by the Lord of the Easts and the Wests that We are certainly able 40 To bring better people than they in their place; and they will not be able to thwart Us. 41 Wherefore let thou them alone plunging in vanity and sporting until they meet their Day which they are promised. 42 The Day they will emerge from the graves rapidly as if they were, toward an erected idol, hastening. 43 With eyes aghast, abasement stupefying them: Such is the Day which they are promised. 44
