But what is the matter with those who disbelieve that they hasten on around you, 36 towards thee on the right hand and on the left hand in knots? 37 Does every one of them hope to enter [by this means] a garden of bliss? 38 By no means! They know that which We have created them from. 39 But nay! I call to witness the Lord of the Easts and the Wests, that We have the power 40 To replace them with better than them; and We are not to be outdone. 41 So leave them to engage in vain talk and to amuse themselves until they come face to face with the Day which they are promised, 42 The Day whereon they shall come forth from the sepulchres hastily, as though they were to an altar hurrying. 43 with their eyes cast down and covered by disgrace; the day about which they were promised. 44
God the Almighty always says the truth.
End of Surah: The Heights (Al-Ma'aarej). Sent down in Mecca after Incontestable (Al-Haaqqah) before The News (Al-Naba')
