WHAT, THEN, is amiss with such as are bent on denying the truth, that they run about confusedly to and fro before thee, 36 [To sit] on [your] right and [your] left in separate groups? 37 What, is every man of them eager to be admitted to a Garden of Bliss? 38 By no means! For We have created them out of the (base matter) they know! 39 So I swear by the Lord of all [the three hundred and sixty (360)] points of sunrise and sunset in the east and the west that surely We are Able 40 to replace them by a better people and none can challenge Our power. 41 (Muhammad), leave them alone to dispute and play until they face the Day with which they have been threatened: 42 The Day they will emerge from the graves rapidly as if they were, toward an erected idol, hastening. 43 Their eyes will be downcast and disgrace will overwhelm them. Such is the Day that they were promised. 44
