What is the matter with unbelievers that they stare at you with fixed gazes and hasten towards you 36 On the right hand and on the left, in sundry parties? 37 Does every man of them long to enter the Garden of Bliss? 38 Certainly not! They know quite well out of what We created them. 39 So I swear by the Lord of [all] risings and settings that indeed We are able 40 To bring better people than they in their place; and they will not be able to thwart Us. 41 So leave them to engage in vain talk and to amuse themselves until they come face to face with the Day which they are promised, 42 The Day they will emerge from the graves rapidly as if they were, toward an erected idol, hastening. 43 Their eyes cast down; disgrace shall overtake them; that is the day which they were threatened with. 44
