What aileth those who disbelieve, that they keep staring toward thee (O Muhammad), open-eyed, 36 On the right and on the left, in companies? 37 Does every one of them aspire to be admitted into a Garden of Delight? 38 By no means! They know that which We have created them from. 39 So I swear by the Lord of [all] risings and settings that indeed We are able 40 To bring instead (others) better than them, and We shall not be overcome. 41 So leave them alone to plunge and play, until they encounter the Day which they are promised; 42 the Day when they rush out of their graves as if racing towards a signpost, 43 with downcast eyes and faces distorted in shame; such is the Day which they are promised. 44
