WHAT, THEN, is amiss with such as are bent on denying the truth, that they run about confusedly to and fro before thee, 36 on the right and on the left in groups? 37 What, is every one of them eager to be admitted to the Garden of Bliss? 38 Certainly not! They know quite well out of what We created them. 39 So I swear by the Lord of [all] risings and settings that indeed We are able 40 To replace them by (others) better than them; and We are not to be outrun. 41 Hence, leave them to indulge in idle talk and play [with words] until they face that [Judgment] Day of theirs which they have been promised 42 The Day whereon they will issue from their sepulchres in sudden haste as if they were rushing to a goal-post (fixed for them),- 43 Their eyes cast down; disgrace shall overtake them; that is the day which they were threatened with. 44
