What aileth those who disbelieve, that they keep staring toward thee (O Muhammad), open-eyed, 36 From the right and the left, in groups? 37 Does every man among them aspire to be admitted into the Garden of serenity? 38 Never so. We have created them from what they know. 39 Now I do call to witness the Lord of all points in the East and the West that We can certainly- 40 to replace them with [people] better than they are; for there is nothing to prevent Us [from doing what We will]. 41 So leave them to engage in vain talk and to amuse themselves until they come face to face with the Day which they are promised, 42 the Day when they shall rush from their graves, as if they were hurrying to a raised flag, 43 humbled their eyes, overspreading them abasement. That is the day which they were promised. 44
