Now what is the matter with the Unbelievers that they rush madly before thee- 36 On the right hand and on the left, in sundry parties? 37 Does every person among them aspire to enter a garden of pleasure? 38 Not at all, for We have created them of what they know. 39 But nay! I call to witness the Lord of the Easts and the Wests, that We have the power 40 to substitute a better than they; We shall not be outstripped. 41 So leave them to engage in vain talk and to amuse themselves until they come face to face with the Day which they are promised, 42 The Day whereon they will issue from their sepulchres in sudden haste as if they were rushing to a goal-post (fixed for them),- 43 humbled their eyes, overspreading them abasement. That is the day which they were promised. 44
