Nooh 2 of 2

Noah said: “My Lord, they did not pay heed to what I said, and followed those (nobles) whose possession of wealth and children has led them to an even greater loss. 21 And they contrived a plot of great magnitude, 22 And said, 'Never leave your gods and never leave Wadd or Suwa' or Yaghuth and Ya'uq and Nasr. 23 They have misled many. So do not enable these evildoers to increase in anything except straying (from the Right Way).” 24 Because of their sins, they were drowned and made to enter hell. They could find no one to help them besides God. 25 And prayed Nooh, “O my Lord! Do not leave any of the disbelievers dwelling in the land.” 26 For surely if Thou leave them they will lead astray Thy servants, and will not beget any but immoral, ungrateful (children) 27 My Lord! forgive me and my parents and him who entereth my house as a believer, and believing men and believing women, and increase not the wrong-doers in aught save ruin! 28

Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
