Nooh 2 of 2

Noah said: “My Lord, they did not pay heed to what I said, and followed those (nobles) whose possession of wealth and children has led them to an even greater loss. 21 and who have devised a most awesome blasphemy [against Thee,] 22 And who have said: ye shall not leave your gods; nor shall ye leave Wadd nor Suwa', nor Yaghuth, nor Ya'uq nor Nasr. 23 They have led many astray; so lead the wrongdoers to further error." 24 Because of their sins they were drowned and put into the Fire, and they found not for themselves besides Allah [any] helpers. 25 And Nuh said: My Lord! leave not upon the land any dweller from among the unbelievers: 26 If Thou shouldst leave them, they will mislead Thy slaves and will beget none save lewd ingrates. 27 Lord! Forgive me and my parents and every true believer who enters my house, forgive all the believing men and believing women; and bestow no increase upon the wrongdoers except in ruin? 28

True are the words of God the Almighty.
