Nuh said: My Lord! surely they have disobeyed me and followed him whose wealth and children have added to him nothing but loss. 21 and have devised a mighty device 22 "And they have said: 'You shall not leave your gods, nor shall you leave Wadd, nor Suwa', nor Yaghuth, nor Ya'uq, nor Nasr (names of the idols); 23 And they have led many astray. Increase Thou not the evildoers save in error!' 24 Because of their sins they were drowned (in the flood), and were made to enter the Fire (of Punishment): and they found- in lieu of Allah- none to help them. 25 And Noah said, "My Lord, do not leave upon the earth from among the disbelievers an inhabitant. 26 for certainly if You should leave them (alive), they will mislead Your servants, and will beget none but sinners and utter unbelievers. 27 O Lord, forgive me, my parents, and any one who enters my house as a believer, and all believing men and women, and do not give the evil-doers increase save in ruin. 28
