[And] Noah continued: "O my Sustainer! Behold, they have opposed me [throughout,] for they follow people whose wealth and children lead them increasingly into ruin, 21 "And they have devised a tremendous Plot. 22 And said, 'Never leave your gods and never leave Wadd or Suwa' or Yaghuth and Ya'uq and Nasr. 23 "They have already misled many; and grant Thou no increase to the wrong-doers but in straying (from their mark)." 24 Because of their sins, they were drowned and made to enter hell. They could find no one to help them besides God. 25 And Noah said, "My Lord, do not leave upon the earth from among the disbelievers an inhabitant. 26 if You leave any, they will misguide Your servants, and they will beget none but sinners and deniers of truth -- 27 Lord! Forgive me and my parents and every true believer who enters my house, forgive all the believing men and believing women; and bestow no increase upon the wrongdoers except in ruin? 28
