Nuh (Noah) said: "My Lord! They have disobeyed me, and followed one whose wealth and children give him no increase but only loss. 21 "And they have plotted a mighty plot. 22 "And they have said (to each other), 'Abandon not your gods: Abandon neither Wadd nor Suwa', neither Yaguth nor Ya'uq, nor Nasr';- 23 And they misled many. So do not give the evil-doers increase but in error. 24 They were drowned because of their habitual sinfulness, and sent to Hell, and did not find any helper other than God. 25 And Noah said, "My Lord, do not leave upon the earth from among the disbelievers an inhabitant. 26 Surely, if Thou leavest them, they will lead Thy servants astray, and will beget none but unbelieving libertines. 27 Lord! Forgive me and my parents and every true believer who enters my house, forgive all the believing men and believing women; and bestow no increase upon the wrongdoers except in ruin? 28
