Noah supplicated, "Lord, they have disobeyed me, and followed those whose wealth and children have only added to their ruin; 21 They have arrogantly plotted evil plans against me, 22 And said: 'Do not abandon your gods, and do not abandon Wadda or Suwa', or Yaghuth, Ya'uq or Nasr.' 23 "They have already misled many; and grant Thou no increase to the wrong-doers but in straying (from their mark)." 24 Because of their sins they were drowned (in the flood), and were made to enter the Fire (of Punishment): and they found- in lieu of Allah- none to help them. 25 Noah prayed, "O my Lord! Do not leave on earth a single one of those who deny the truth -- 26 If Thou shouldst leave them, they will mislead Thy slaves and will beget none save lewd ingrates. 27 My Lord! forgive me and my parents and him who enters my house believing, and the believing men and the believing women; and do not increase the unjust in aught but destruction! 28
