28 verses, revealed in Mecca after A 'araaf (Al-A 'araaf) before Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ SAY: "I HAVE been informed that a number of jinns had listened; then said: 'We have heard the wondrous Qur'an, 1 guiding towards consciousness of what is right; and so we have come to believe in it. And we shall never ascribe divinity to anyone beside our Sustainer, 2 And [it teaches] that exalted is the nobleness of our Lord; He has not taken a wife or a son 3 The ignorant fool among us has spoken outrageously against Allah, 4 ‘Whereas we thought that men and jinns would never fabricate a lie against Allah!’ 5 'True, there were persons among mankind who took shelter with persons among the Jinns, but they increased them in folly. 6 Those people thought, like you, that God would never send down a Messenger. 7 And that we sought to reach heaven, but we found it filled with strong guards and flaming stars. 8 'And verily, we used to sit there in stations, to (steal) a hearing, but any who listens now will find a flaming fire watching him in ambush. 9 and that “we do not know whether evil is intended for those on the earth, or whether their Lord intends to direct them to the Right Way”; 10 And of us there are some righteous, and of us are some otherwise; we have been following very diverse paths. 11 We have realized that we could never thwart God on earth and that we would never be able to thwart Him by flight. 12 And when we heard the Message of guidance, we believed therein; and whosoever believeth in his Lord, he shall fear neither diminution nor wrong. 13 And that some of us are those who submit, and some of us are the deviators; so whoever submits, these aim at the right way: 14 but those who are wrongdoers will become the fuel of Hell." 15 If they (the idolaters) tread the right path, We shall give them to drink of water in abundance 16 That We may test them thereby, and whoso turneth away from the remembrance of his Lord; He will thrust him into ever-growing torment. 17 The mosques are for God's worship -- so do not invoke anyone else along with God -- 18 Do not prostrate before anyone other than Him. When the servant of God (Muhammad) preached (his message) the jinn would all crowd around him. 19

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
