Jinns (Al-Jinn)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ Proclaim (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), “I have received the divine revelation that some jinns attentively listened to my recitation, so they said, ‘We have heard a unique Qur’an.’ 1 that guides to the Right Path. We believe in it and we will not associate anyone with our Lord. 2 and exalted is the majesty of our Lord, He has taken neither a wife nor a son. 3 The ignorant fool among us has spoken outrageously against Allah, 4 and that [we were mistaken when] we thought that neither man nor [any of] the invisible forces would ever tell a lie about God. 5 But there were certain men from mankind who would take refuge with certain males from the jinn and they increased them in tyranny. 6 And indeed they imagined, even as ye imagined, that Allah will not raise any one. 7 "We went near the heavens but found it to be full of strong guards and shooting flames. 8 And we were wont to sit on seats therein to listen; but whosoever listeneth now findeth for him a dartin meteor in wait. 9 And we know not whether evil is boded for those who are on the earth, or whether their Lord intendeth for them a right direction. 10 As for us, some of us are righteous and others are not. We have all followed different ways. 11 And we have become certain that we will never cause failure to Allah upon earth, nor can we escape Him by flight. 12 'And as for us, since we have listened to the Guidance, we have accepted it: and any who believes in his Lord has no fear, either of a short (account) or of any injustice. 13 and that “among us some are Muslims (Those who have submitted to Allah), and some of us are deviant. So those who became Muslims found the Right Course; 14 And as for those who are unjust, they are firewood for hell. 15 If they had followed the right path, We would have provided them with abundant rain -- 16 So We might test them therein. And whoever turns away from the remembrance of his Lord He will put into arduous punishment. 17 The places of worship belong to God; so call not, along with God, upon anyone. 18 ‘And that when Allah’s bondman stood up to worship Him, the jinns had almost crowded upon him.’” 19
