Say, [O Muhammad], "I only invoke my Lord and do not associate with Him anyone." 20 Say: "Verily, it is not in my power to cause you harm or to endow you with consciousness of what is right." 21 Say, "Surely no one can protect me against God, nor can I find besides Him any place of refuge. 22 Mine is but the publishing from Allah and His messages; and whosoever disobeyeth Allah and His apostle, his portion verily is the Hell-Fire as abiders therein for evermore. 23 Until when they see what they are threatened with, then shall they know who is weaker in helpers and fewer in number. 24 Say, "I do not know whether what you are promised is imminent, or whether my Lord has set for it a far-off day. 25 He is the Knower of the Unseen, and He does not disclose His Unseen to anyone 26 Save unto every messenger whom He hath chosen, and then He maketh a guard to go before him and a guard behind him 27 That he may know that they have conveyed the messages of their Lord; and He has encompassed whatever is with them and has enumerated all things in number. 28

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
