You shall not attain righteousness until you spend of what you love. Whatever you spend is known to Allah. 92 ۞ All food was lawful to the Children of Israel, except what Israel Made unlawful for itself, before the Law (of Moses) was revealed. Say: "Bring ye the Law and study it, if ye be men of truth." 93 And anyone who fabricates lies about God even after this, is wicked indeed. 94 Say (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), “Allah is truthful; so follow the religion of Ibrahim, who was free from all falsehood; and he was not of the polytheists.” 95 The first house (of worship) that God assigned to men was in Bakka (another name of Mecca). It is a blessed one and a guide for all people. 96 In it there are clear signs and the station of Abraham; whoever enters it becomes secure. Pilgrimage to the House is a duty owed to Allah by all who can make their way to it. As for those who refuse to follow His command, surely Allah does not stand in need of anything. 97 Say, "People of the Book, why do you reject God's revelations when God is witness to all that you do?" 98 Then say: "O people of the Book, why do you turn the believers away from the path of God, looking for obliquities in the way when you are witness to it? And God is aware of all that you do." 99 O believers, if you follow what some of the people of the Book say, it will turn you into unbelievers even after you have come to belief. 100 And how can you disbelieve? To you are being recited the messages of God, and His prophet is among you. And whosoever holds fast to God shall verily be guided to the path that is straight. 101
