Never will you attain the good [reward] until you spend [in the way of Allah] from that which you love. And whatever you spend - indeed, Allah is Knowing of it. 92 ۞ All food was lawful unto the Children of Israel, save that which Israel forbade himself, (in days) before the Torah was revealed. Say: Produce the Torah and read it (unto us) if ye are truthful. 93 And whoever invents about Allah untruth after that - then those are [truly] the wrongdoers. 94 (Muhammad), say, "God has spoken the Truth. Follow the upright tradition of Abraham who was not an idolater." 95 Lo! the first Sanctuary appointed for mankind was that at Becca, a blessed place, a guidance to the peoples; 96 In it are Signs Manifest; (for example), the Station of Abraham; whoever enters it attains security; Pilgrimage thereto is a duty men owe to Allah,- those who can afford the journey; but if any deny faith, Allah stands not in need of any of His creatures. 97 Say: O People of the Scripture! Why disbelieve ye in the revelations of Allah, when Allah (Himself) is Witness of what ye do? 98 Say: 'People of the Book, why do you bar he who believes from the Path of Allah and seek to make it crooked, when you yourselves are witnesses? Allah is not inattentive of what you do' 99 O believers, if you obey a sect of those who have been given the Book, they will turn you, after you have believed, into unbelievers. 100 How could you turn back to disbelief when the words of God are recited to you and you have in your midst His Messenger? Those who seek the protection of God will certainly be guided to the right path. 101
