In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
O you (Prophet Muhamad), the cloaked, 1 Arise and warn 2 Thy Lord magnify, 3 And thine inner self purify! 4 and shun uncleanness, 5 Give not, thinking to gain greater 6 And for the sake of your Lord, patiently endure. 7 For when the trumpet is sounded, 8 that day will be a harsh day, 9 Far from easy for the disbelievers. 10 Leave Me with him whom I alone have created, 11 And then granted him resources in abundance. 12 and sons that stand in witness. 13 And for whom I smoothed everything. 14 And who yet coveteth that shall increase. 15 No! Indeed, he has been toward Our verses obstinate. 16 I will make a distressing punishment overtake him. 17 Surely he reflected and guessed, 18 death seize him, how he determined! 19 What an evil plan he has made! 20 Then looked he, 21 Then he frowned and he scowled; 22 Then he turned back and was big with pride, 23 He said, 'This is naught but a trumped-up sorcery; 24 'this is nothing but mortal speech.' 25 I will cast him into Hell-fire 26 What could make you conceive what hell-fire is? 27 It spares nothing; it leaves nothing intact; 28 making [all truth] visible to mortal man. 29 Above it are nineteen guards. 30 We have appointed only angels to be wardens of the Fire, and their number have We made to be a stumbling-block for those who disbelieve; that those to whom the Scripture hath been given may have certainty, and that believers may increase in faith; and that those to whom the Scripture hath been given and believers may not doubt; and that those in whose hearts there is disease, and disbelievers, may say: What meaneth Allah by this similitude? Thus Allah sendeth astray whom He will, and whom He will He guideth. None knoweth the hosts of thy Lord save Him. This is naught else than a Reminder unto mortals. 31
