The Hidden Secret (Al-Muddath-thir)
56 verses, revealed in Mecca after Unknown Person (Al-Muzzammil) before The Key (Al-Faatehah)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
O you (Prophet Muhamad), the cloaked, 1 Arise and warn! 2 proclaim the greatness of your Lord, 3 And keep your clothes clean. 4 Pollution shun! 5 and bestow not favour in order to seek from others a greater return, 6 For the sake of thy Lord, be patient! 7 When the Trumpet shall be sounded, 8 that very Day shall be a day of anguish, 9 not an easy day for the unbelievers. 10 Leave Me alone, (to deal) with the (creature) whom I created (bare and) alone!- 11 and to whom I have granted resources in abundance, 12 and sons that stand in witness. 13 And made things easy for them. 14 Yet is he greedy-that I should add (yet more);- 15 Never will he receive more. He has been hostile to Our revelations. 16 I shall oblige him to (climb a slippery mountain in the Hell-fire called As-Sa'ud, or to) face a severe torment! 17 For he thought and he plotted -- 18 death seized him, how was his determining! 19 Again (self-)destroyed is he, how he planned! - 20 Then he beheld, 21 Then frowned he and scowled. 22 Then turned he away in pride 23 and says, "All this is mere spellbinding eloquence handed down [from olden times]! 24 This is naught else than speech of mortal man. 25 Anon shall I roast him into the Scorching Fire. 26 and what will teach thee what is Sakar? 27 It leaves naught nor does it spare aught. 28 Scorching the skin. 29 over it are nineteen. 30 We have appointed only angels to be masters of the Fire, and their number We have appointed only as a trial for the unbelievers, that those who were given the Book may have certainty, and that those who believe may increase in belief, and that those who were given the Book and those who believe may not be in-doubt, and that those in whose hearts there is sickness, and the unbelievers, may say, 'What did God intend by this as a similitude?' So God leads astray whomsoever He will, and He guides whomsoever He will; and none knows the hosts of thy Lord but He. And it is naught but a Reminder to mortals. 31

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
