The Hidden Secret (Al-Muddath-thir)
56 verses, revealed in Mecca after Unknown Person (Al-Muzzammil) before The Key (Al-Faatehah)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
O you who are clothed! 1 Arise, and warn. 2 And thy Sustainer's greatness glorify! 3 Purify your inner self, 4 And uncleanness do shun, 5 Do not bestow favours in expectation of return, 6 but unto thy Sustainer turn in patience. 7 For when the trumpet is sounded, 8 that very Day shall be a day of anguish, 9 not an easy day for the unbelievers. 10 Leave him to Me whom I created alone, 11 To whom I granted resources in abundance, 12 and sons that stand in witness. 13 And for whom I smoothed everything. 14 And who yet coveteth that shall increase. 15 Never. He is refractory of Our signs. 16 On him I shall impose a fearful doom. 17 He reflected and then hatched a scheme. 18 death seize him, how he determined! 19 And once more let him be cursed, how he plotted! 20 Then he looked, 21 Then frowned he and scowled. 22 Then he turned back and was proud; 23 Then he said: "This is nothing but magic from that of old; 24 this is nothing but the word of a mere mortal!” 25 I will cast him into Hell-fire 26 And what will make you know exactly what Hell-fire is? 27 It spares not (any sinner), nor does it leave (anything unburnt)! 28 making [all truth] visible to mortal man. 29 over it are nineteen. 30 And We have not made the wardens of the fire others than angels, and We have not made their number but as a trial for those who disbelieve, that those who have been given the book may be certain and those who believe may increase in faith, and those who have been given the book and the believers may not doubt, and that those in whose hearts is a disease and the unbelievers may say: What does Allah mean by this parable? Thus does Allah make err whom He pleases, and He guides whom He pleases, and none knows the hosts of your Lord but He Himself; and this is naught but a reminder to the mortals. 31

Notes and Instructions
ColorfulQuran.com displays pages in one of three Arabic fonts. Each may appear with a one-third chance, adding more diversity to the already diverse colors. And the words remain unchanged forever. ColorfulQuran.com will have more beautiful fonts soon, God willing.
