The Hidden Secret (Al-Muddath-thir)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
O the Cloaked One! (Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him) 1 Arise and warn! 2 proclaim the greatness of your Lord, 3 And your garments purify! 4 Pollution shun! 5 Do not give, thinking to gain greater 6 and be patient unto thy Lord. 7 When the Trumpet shall be sounded, 8 Truly, that Day will be a Hard Day. 9 not an easy day for the unbelievers. 10 Leave Me with him whom I alone have created, 11 and to whom I have granted resources in abundance, 12 And sons present by his side. 13 and to whose life I gave so wide a scope: 14 and yet, he greedily desires that I give him even more! 15 By no means! Verily he hath been unto Our signs a foe. 16 Soon will I visit him with a mount of calamities! 17 Verily, he thought and plotted; 18 and woe to him; how he plotted! 19 Again, death seized him, how was his determining! 20 Then he beheld, 21 Then he frowned and he looked in a bad tempered way; 22 and in the end he turns his back [on Our message,] and glories in his arrogance, 23 said, "This (the Quran) is nothing but magic, inherited from ancient magicians. 24 “This is nothing but the speech of a man.” 25 I will cast him into the fire of Hell. 26 And what can make you know what is Saqar? 27 It shall not spare, nor leave. 28 It scorches the mortal. 29 Over it are nineteen (guards). 30 And We have set none but angels as Guardians of the Fire; and We have fixed their number only as a trial for Unbelievers,- in order that the People of the Book may arrive at certainty, and the Believers may increase in Faith,- and that no doubts may be left for the People of the Book and the Believers, and that those in whose hearts is a disease and the Unbelievers may say, "What symbol doth Allah intend by this?" Thus doth Allah leave to stray whom He pleaseth, and guide whom He pleaseth: and none can know the forces of thy Lord, except He and this is no other than a warning to mankind. 31
