The Hidden Secret (Al-Muddath-thir)
56 verses, revealed in Mecca after Unknown Person (Al-Muzzammil) before The Key (Al-Faatehah)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
O you (Muhammad SAW) enveloped (in garments)! 1 stand up, deliver your warning, 2 And thy Lord do thou magnify! 3 Thy raiment purify, 4 and flee from the statues! 5 and bestow not favour in order to seek from others a greater return, 6 But for your Lord be patient. 7 For when the trumpet is sounded, 8 So that is a tough day. 9 Not of ease, for disbelievers. 10 Let Me alone with him whom I created lonely. 11 And give him vast riches, 12 And sons always present by his side, 13 And for whom I smoothed everything. 14 and yet, he greedily desires that I give him even more! 15 By no means! For to Our Signs he has been refractory! 16 and I shall constrain him to a hard ascent. 17 He planned and plotted. 18 So let him be cursed! How he plotted! 19 Again, death seized him, how was his determining! 20 Then he considered [again]; 21 Then he frowned and scowled; 22 then he retreated, and waxed proud. 23 He said, 'This is naught but a trumped-up sorcery; 24 this is nothing but the word of a mere mortal!” 25 Soon I will cast him into hell. 26 And what will explain to thee what Hell-Fire is? 27 It leaves nothing, nor does it spare; 28 it scorches the skin; 29 Over it are nineteen [angels]. 30 And We have set none but angels as guardians of the Fire, and We have fixed their number (19) only as a trial for the disbelievers, in order that the people of the Scripture (Jews and Christians) may arrive at a certainty [that this Quran is the truth as it agrees with their Books i.e. their number (19) is written in the Taurat (Torah) and the Injeel (Gospel)] and the believers may increase in Faith (as this Quran is the truth) and that no doubts may be left for the people of the Scripture and the believers, and that those in whose hearts is a disease (of hypocrisy) and the disbelievers may say: "What Allah intends by this (curious) example?" Thus Allah leads astray whom He wills and guides whom He wills. And none can know the hosts of your Lord but He. And this (Hell) is nothing else than a (warning) reminder to mankind. 31

Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
