The Hidden Secret (Al-Muddath-thir)
56 verses, revealed in Mecca after Unknown Person (Al-Muzzammil) before The Key (Al-Faatehah)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
O you who covers himself [with a garment], 1 Arise and warn! 2 and exalt your Lord, 3 And thine inner self purify! 4 And stay away from idols. 5 And show not favour, seeking wordly gain! 6 But for your Lord be patient. 7 When the trumpet is sounded,. 8 That shall be - that Day - a day hard. 9 for the unbelievers not easy. 10 Leave Me Alone (to deal) with whom I created Alone (without any means, i.e. Al-Walid bin Al-Mughirah Al-Makhzumi)! 11 To whom I granted resources in abundance, 12 and sons standing before him, 13 and whom I have provided with every resource, 14 And who yet coveteth that shall increase. 15 By no means! For to Our Signs he has been refractory! 16 I will make a distressing punishment overtake him. 17 He planned and plotted. 18 May he be accursed, how he planned! 19 May be then be accursed, how he plotted! 20 May he be condemned again for his schemes! He looked around, 21 then he frowned, and scowled, 22 Then turned his back and waxed proud, 23 And said: This is naught else than magic from of old; 24 "This is nothing but the word of a human being!" 25 [Hence,] I shall cause him to endure hell-fire [in the life to come]! 26 Would that you really knew what hell is! 27 It lets nothing remain and leaves nothing [unburned], 28 it scorches (even) the skin. 29 Over it are nineteen. 30 We have appointed only angels to be wardens of the Fire. We have specified their number only as a trial for those who are bent on denying the truth, so that those who were given the Book might gain in certainty, and those who believe might increase in faith -- and so that neither those who have been given the Scripture nor the believers might have any doubts, and that those sick at heart and those who deny the truth might ask, "What does God mean by this parable?" In this way, God lets go astray whom He wills, and guides whom He wills. And none knows the forces of your Lord but He. This is but a Reminder for man. 31

Notes and Instructions
ColorfulQuran.com displays pages in one of three Arabic fonts. Each may appear with a one-third chance, adding more diversity to the already diverse colors. And the words remain unchanged forever. ColorfulQuran.com will have more beautiful fonts soon, God willing.
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
