The Hidden Secret (Al-Muddath-thir)
56 verses, revealed in Mecca after Unknown Person (Al-Muzzammil) before The Key (Al-Faatehah)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
O you (Prophet Muhamad), the cloaked, 1 Arise and deliver thy warning! 2 And thy Sustainer's greatness glorify! 3 And your garments purify! 4 And stay away from idols. 5 And bestow not favors that you may receive again with increase, 6 Exercise patience to please your Lord. 7 When the Trumpet shall be sounded, 8 That Day will be a difficult day 9 Not easy upon the disbelievers. 10 LEAVE Me alone [to deal] with him whom I have created alone, 11 And to whom I granted extensive wealth 12 and sons standing before him, 13 And made life smooth and comfortable for him! 14 Yet he wants that I should give him more. 15 Never will he receive more. He has been hostile to Our revelations. 16 I shall oblige him to (climb a slippery mountain in the Hell-fire called As-Sa'ud, or to) face a severe torment! 17 Surely he reflected and guessed, 18 So let him be cursed! How he plotted! 19 Yea, Woe to him; How he plotted!- 20 Then he considered [again]; 21 then he frowned and scowled, 22 Then turned his back and waxed proud, 23 Then he said: "This is nothing but magic from that of old; 24 this is nothing but the word of a mere mortal!” 25 [Hence,] I shall cause him to endure hell-fire [in the life to come]! 26 And what will make you know exactly what Hell-fire is? 27 It neither spares, nor releases, 28 scorching the flesh; 29 Above it are nineteen. 30 We have appointed only angels to be wardens of the Fire. We have specified their number only as a trial for those who are bent on denying the truth, so that those who were given the Book might gain in certainty, and those who believe might increase in faith -- and so that neither those who have been given the Scripture nor the believers might have any doubts, and that those sick at heart and those who deny the truth might ask, "What does God mean by this parable?" In this way, God lets go astray whom He wills, and guides whom He wills. And none knows the forces of your Lord but He. This is but a Reminder for man. 31

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
