The Hidden Secret (Al-Muddath-thir)
56 verses, revealed in Mecca after Unknown Person (Al-Muzzammil) before The Key (Al-Faatehah)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
O YOU ENFOLDED in your mantle (of reform), 1 Arise and warn! 2 And your Lord (Allah) magnify! 3 And your garments purify! 4 And uncleanness do shun, 5 Do not bestow favours in expectation of return, 6 and persevere for your Lord's sake. 7 When the Trumpet is sounded, 8 So that is a tough day. 9 for the unbelievers not easy. 10 Leave Me alone with he whom I created 11 And then bestowed upon him ample means, 12 And sons always present by his side, 13 and whom I have provided with every resource, 14 and yet, he greedily desires that I give yet more! 15 Never will he receive more. He has been hostile to Our revelations. 16 Soon will I visit him with a mount of calamities! 17 Behold, [when Our messages are conveyed to one who is bent on denying the truth,] he reflects and meditates [as to how to disprove them] 18 So may he be destroyed [for] how he deliberated. 19 Again accursed be he, how evilly did he decide! 20 Then he looked, 21 Then he frowned and scowled; 22 Then he turned away, and was haughty. 23 Then he said: This is naught but enchantment, narrated (from others); 24 Naught is this but the word of Man. 25 I will cast him into hell. 26 Would that you really knew what hell is! 27 It spares not, neither leaves alone 28 It scorches people's skin 29 Over it are appointed nineteen. 30 We have not appointed the guards of hell, except angels; and did not keep this number except to test the disbelievers in order that the People given the Book(s) may be convinced, and to increase the faith of the believers and so that the People given the Book(s) and the Muslims may not have any doubt and so that those in whose hearts is a disease and the disbelievers, may say, “What does Allah mean by this amazing example?” This is how Allah sends astray whomever He wills, and guides whomever He wills; and no one knows the armies of Allah except Him; and this is not but an advice to man. 31

Notes and Instructions
ColorfulQuran.com displays pages in one of three Arabic fonts. Each may appear with a one-third chance, adding more diversity to the already diverse colors. And the words remain unchanged forever. ColorfulQuran.com will have more beautiful fonts soon, God willing.
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
