The Hidden Secret (Al-Muddath-thir)
56 verses, revealed in Mecca after Unknown Person (Al-Muzzammil) before The Key (Al-Faatehah)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
O YOU ENFOLDED in your mantle (of reform), 1 Arise and warn, 2 Thy Lord magnify 3 And your clothing purify 4 stay away from sins 5 And bestow not favors that you may receive again with increase, 6 and persevere for your Lord's sake. 7 So when the Trumpet will be blown. 8 that shall be a Harsh Day 9 For the unbelievers, anything but easy. 10 Leave him to Me whom I created alone, 11 and designated for him ample wealth, 12 and sons that stand in witness. 13 To whom I made (life) smooth and comfortable! 14 and who still desires more. 15 No! Indeed, he has been toward Our verses obstinate. 16 On him I shall impose a fearful doom. 17 Indeed, he thought and deliberated. 18 Ruin seize him, how did he hatch a scheme? 19 Again, death seize him, how he determined! 20 Then looked he, 21 Then frowned and grimaced. 22 Then he turned back and was haughty; 23 Then he said: This is naught but enchantment, narrated (from others); 24 'this is nothing but mortal speech.' 25 I shall make him suffer the torment of hell. 26 - Ah, what will convey unto thee what that burning is! - 27 It spares not, neither leaves alone 28 it scorches the skin; 29 Over it are nineteen keepers. 30 And We have not made the wardens of the fire others than angels, and We have not made their number but as a trial for those who disbelieve, that those who have been given the book may be certain and those who believe may increase in faith, and those who have been given the book and the believers may not doubt, and that those in whose hearts is a disease and the unbelievers may say: What does Allah mean by this parable? Thus does Allah make err whom He pleases, and He guides whom He pleases, and none knows the hosts of your Lord but He Himself; and this is naught but a reminder to the mortals. 31

ColorfulQuran.com displays pages in one of three Arabic fonts. Each may appear with a one-third chance, adding more diversity to the already diverse colors. And the words remain unchanged forever. ColorfulQuran.com will have more beautiful fonts soon, God willing.
