The Hidden Secret (Al-Muddath-thir)
56 verses, revealed in Mecca after Unknown Person (Al-Muzzammil) before The Key (Al-Faatehah)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
O, you, wrapped in your cloak, 1 Arise, and warn. 2 And your Lord glorify 3 cleanse your clothes, 4 and defilement flee! 5 And give not a thing in order to have more (or consider not your deeds of Allah's obedience as a favour to Allah). 6 and for the sake of your Lord, be patient. 7 For when the trumpet is sounded, 8 That Day will be a difficult day 9 Far from easy for the disbelievers. 10 Leave him to Me, the one whom I created single. 11 and to whom I have granted resources in abundance, 12 And sons abiding in his presence 13 and to whose life I gave so wide a scope: 14 and yet, he greedily desires that I give yet more! 15 Never. He is refractory of Our signs. 16 I shall inflict on him hardship, 17 Indeed, he thought and deliberated. 18 death seize him, how he determined! 19 Then may he be destroyed [for] how he deliberated. 20 and then he looks [around for new arguments,] 21 then he frowned, and scowled, 22 Then turned he back, and grew stiff-necked. 23 Then he said: This is naught but enchantment, narrated (from others); 24 "This is nothing but the word of a mortal!" 25 Soon I will cast him into hell. 26 and what will teach thee what is Sakar? 27 It leaves naught nor does it spare aught. 28 It scorches people's skin 29 over it are nineteen. 30 We have appointed only angels to be masters of the Fire, and their number We have appointed only as a trial for the unbelievers, that those who were given the Book may have certainty, and that those who believe may increase in belief, and that those who were given the Book and those who believe may not be in-doubt, and that those in whose hearts there is sickness, and the unbelievers, may say, 'What did God intend by this as a similitude?' So God leads astray whomsoever He will, and He guides whomsoever He will; and none knows the hosts of thy Lord but He. And it is naught but a Reminder to mortals. 31

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
