The Hidden Secret (Al-Muddath-thir)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
O you (Muhammad SAW) enveloped (in garments)! 1 Arise and warn! 2 Thy Lord magnify, 3 Purify your inner self, 4 And pollution shun. 5 And bestow not favors that you may receive again with increase, 6 And persevere in the way of your Lord. 7 Finally, when the Trumpet is sounded, 8 that very Day shall be a day of anguish, 9 and it will not be easy for the unbelievers. 10 Leave him to Me, the one whom I created single. 11 And gave him abundant wealth 12 And sons to be by his side!- 13 And made things easy for them. 14 After all that he desires that I should give more; 15 Not at all! Surely, he has been disobedient to Our verses. 16 Soon I shall mount him on Saood, the hill of fire. 17 For he had thought and calculated. 18 Perish he! How maliciously he devised! 19 Again, death seized him, how was his determining! 20 and then he looks [around for new arguments,] 21 and then he frowns and glares, 22 and in the end he turns his back [on Our message,] and glories in his arrogance, 23 said, "This (the Quran) is nothing but magic, inherited from ancient magicians. 24 “This is nothing but the speech of a man.” 25 Anon shall I roast him into the Scorching Fire. 26 And what have you understood, what hell is! 27 It leaves and spares no one and nothing. 28 Blackening the skins. 29 and it has nineteen angelic keepers. 30 And We have not made the keepers of the Fire except angels. And We have not made their number except as a trial for those who disbelieve - that those who were given the Scripture will be convinced and those who have believed will increase in faith and those who were given the Scripture and the believers will not doubt and that those in whose hearts is hypocrisy and the disbelievers will say, "What does Allah intend by this as an example?" Thus does Allah leave astray whom He wills and guides whom He wills. And none knows the soldiers of your Lord except Him. And mention of the Fire is not but a reminder to humanity. 31
