Nay, and by the moon, 32 By the night when it departs. 33 The morning when it is unveiled, 34 That (Hell) is surely one of the greater (signs), 35 a warning to mortal man 36 To whoever wills among you to proceed or stay behind. 37 Every soul is a pledge for its own deeds; 38 Save those who will stand on the right hand. 39 who shall be in the Gardens, and shall ask 40 concerning the sinners, 41 "What led you into Hell Fire?" 42 They will answer: "We were not among those who prayed; 43 we fed not the needy, 44 And we used to enter into vain discourse with those who engaged [in it], 45 “And used to deny the Day of Justice.” 46 Until the certainty (of death) had come upon us. 47 Then will no intercession of (any) intercessors profit them. 48 What is then the matter with them, that they turn away from the admonition 49 like frightened donkeys 50 Fleeing away from a lion. 51 Rather each one of them desires that he should be given open Books. 52 No indeed; but they do not fear the Hereafter. 53 Nay, verily. Lo! this is an Admonishment. 54 Let him then who heeds remember it. 55 And what advice will they heed, except if Allah wills? Only He deserves to be feared, and His only is the greatness of forgiving. 56
