▼ 74 The Hidden Secret
Al-Muddath-thir 2 of 2
Nay, by the Moon 32 And by the night when it withdraws, 33 And [by] the morning when it brightens, 34 This is but one of the mighty (portents), 35 a warning to humans, 36 a warning to everyone of you whether he would like to come forward or lag behind. 37 Every soul shall be pledged for what it has earned, 38 except the people of the right hand 39 who in their gardens will be enquiring 40 About the criminals, 41 [And asking them], "What put you into Saqar?" 42 They will say: "We were not of those who prayed; 43 And did not feed the needy, 44 And we have been wading with the waders. 45 and we gave the lie to the Day of Judgement 46 “Till death overcame us.” 47 The mediation of no mediators will avail them then. 48 Why then do they turn away from the admonition 49 As if they were asses taking fright 50 Fleeing from a lion? 51 Nay, but everyone of them desireth that he should be given open pages (from Allah). 52 By no means! Aye, they fear not the Hereafter. 53 No indeed; surely it is a Reminder; 54 So whosoever will may heed. 55 No one will seek guidance unless God wills it. He alone is worthy of being feared and He is the Source of Forgiveness. 56
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
