Nay! By the moon 32 And by the night when it withdraws, 33 By the dawn when it lightens! 34 surely (Hell) is one of the greatest Signs, 35 A warning for people -- 36 alike to every one of you, who want to go forward or hang back. 37 Every soul is mortgaged for its own deeds. 38 except the people of the right hand 39 In Gardens, they seek answers, 40 concerning the sinners, 41 What led you into the Scorching Fire? 42 They will reply: 'We were not among those who prayed 43 And did not feed the needy, 44 And we have been wading with the waders. 45 and we denied the Day of Judgement 46 "Until there came to us (the death) that is certain." 47 The intercession of the intercessors will be of no benefit to them. 48 Then what is wrong with them (i.e. the disbelievers) that they turn away from (receiving) admonition? 49 As though they were asses startled. 50 That had fled from a lion? 51 Nay, but everyone of them desireth that he should be given open pages (from Allah). 52 No indeed; the truth is that they have no fear of the Hereafter. 53 Nay, verily, this is an admonition 54 and whoever wills may take it to heart. 55 But none will remember, unless Allah wills, He is the Owner of fear, the Owner of forgiveness. 56
