Nay, by the moon, 32 And by the night when it withdraws, 33 And the daybreak when it shines; 34 Verily, it (Hell, or their denial of the Prophet Muhammad SAW, or the Day of Resurrection) is but one of the greatest calamities. 35 A warning unto humankind 36 To any of you that chooses to press forward, or to follow behind;- 37 Every soul will be (held) in pledge for its deeds. 38 Except the people of the right hand, 39 In Gardens they will question 40 Concerning the culprits: 41 "What has caused you to enter Hell?" 42 They will say: "We were not of those who used to offer their Salat (prayers) 43 Nor did we feed the wretched. 44 we indulged in vain arguments along with those who indulged in them; 45 And we used to deny the Day of Judgment, 46 Until there came to us the certainty." 47 So, the intercession of intercessors will not avail them. 48 Why now turn they away from the Admonishment, 49 As though they were frightened asses 50 fleeing before a lion? 51 Nay; every one of them desires that he may be given pages spread out; 52 By no means! Aye, they fear not the Hereafter. 53 By no means! Verily this Qur'an is an admonition. 54 So whosoever willeth may heed it. 55 But none will keep it in remembrance except as Allah wills: He is the Lord of Righteousness, and the Lord of Forgiveness. 56
