No, by the moon! 32 And by the Night as it retreateth, 33 by the brightening dawn, 34 Indeed hell is one of the greatest entities. 35 as a warner to mortals. 36 to everyone of you, whether he chooses to come forward or to hang back! 37 Each one is a hostage to one's deeds, 38 Except the companions of the right, 39 in Gardens they will question 40 concerning the sinners, 41 "What has brought you into hell-fire?" 42 They will say, "We were not of those who prayed, 43 Nor did we feed the wretched. 44 And we have been wading with the waders. 45 "And we used to deny the Day of Judgment, 46 till the certainty (death) overtook us' 47 Then the intercession of the intercessors shall not profit them. 48 Then what is wrong with them (i.e. the disbelievers) that they turn away from (receiving) admonition? 49 As if they were affrighted asses, 50 Fleeing away from a lion. 51 Aye! every one of them desireth that: he should be vouchsafed scrolls expanded. 52 Never! In fact they do not fear the Hereafter. 53 Nay! it is surely an admonition. 54 Let anyone who seeks guidance do so. 55 And they will not remember, except that God wills; He is worthy to be feared, -- worthy to forgive. 56
