No, by the moon! 32 by the retreating night, 33 and the morn when it dawns! 34 Surely, it is one of the gravest things, 35 A warning unto humankind 36 alike to every one of you, who want to go forward or hang back. 37 Every soul is mortgaged for its own deeds. 38 except the people of the right hand 39 [Who will be] in gardens, questioning each other 40 About the guilty: 41 "what led you into hell?" 42 They will answer: "We were not among those who prayed; 43 nor did we feed the destitute. 44 And we have been wading with the waders. 45 and rejected the Day of Judgment 46 until there came to us the certainty. 47 So, the intercession of intercessors will not avail them. 48 If such will be the Day of Judgment, what is the matter with them? Why do they run away from guidance, 49 As they were frightened asses 50 Fleeing from a lion? 51 Nay, everyone of them desires that he should be given pages spread out (coming from Allah with a writing that Islam is the right religion, and Muhammad SAW has come with the truth from Allah the Lord of the heavens and earth, etc.). 52 No! They do not fear the Hereafter -- 53 No, indeed, surely, this is a Reminder. 54 Then whoever wills will remember it. 55 But none will remember, unless Allah wills, He is the Owner of fear, the Owner of forgiveness. 56
