No! By the moon 32 By the night when it withdraweth. 33 By the dawn when it lightens! 34 Surely, it is one of the gravest things, 35 It is a warning for mankind 36 To any of you that chooses to press forward, or to follow behind;- 37 Every soul will be a pledge for that which it hath earned, 38 save the Companions of the Right; 39 who shall be in the Gardens, and shall ask 40 About Al-Mujrimun (polytheists, criminals, disbelievers, etc.), (And they will say to them): 41 What led you into the Scorching Fire? 42 and they shall reply, "We were not among those who prayed; 43 we fed not the needy, 44 And we used to enter into vain discourse with those who entered into vain discourses. 45 And we used to deny the Day of Judgment, 46 Until there came to us the certainty." 47 So no intercession of intercessors will be of any use to them. 48 What aileth them, therefore, that they are from the admonition turning away? 49 As though they were asses startled. 50 Fleeing from a hunter, or a lion, or a beast of prey. 51 Yea, everyone of them claims that he [himself] ought to have been given revelations unfolded! 52 No, indeed they have no fear of the Everlasting Life. 53 Nay; this is an Exhortation. 54 So, whoever wills, will remember it. 55 But they will not benefit from it unless Allah Himself so wills. He is worthy to be feared; and He is worthy to forgive (those that fear Him). 56
True are the words of God the Almighty.
