Nay, verily: By the Moon, 32 And by oath of the night when it turns back. 33 And by the dawn when it brightens, 34 Surely it (hell) is one of the gravest (misfortunes), 35 Warn the men. 36 to whoever among you desires to go forward, or lag behind. 37 Every soul is pledged to what it does, 38 Save those who will stand on the right hand. 39 [dwelling] In gardens [of paradise,] they will inquire 40 concerning the sinners, 41 What hath brought you to this burning? 42 They said, “We never used to offer the prayer.” 43 and we did not feed the needy. 44 we indulged in vain arguments along with those who indulged in them; 45 And we have been belying the Day of Requital. 46 until the Inevitable End [death] overtook us." 47 So the intercession of the intercessors will not benefit them. (The disbelievers will not have any intercessor.) 48 Why then do they turn away from the admonition 49 as if they were startled asses 50 running away from a lion? 51 Rather, every person among them desires that he would be given scriptures spread about. 52 Nay, but they do not [believe in and hence, do not] fear the life to come. 53 By no means! Verily this Qur'an is an admonition. 54 So whosoever will (let him read it), and receive admonition (from it)! 55 But none will remember, unless Allah wills, He is the Owner of fear, the Owner of forgiveness. 56
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
