No! By the moon 32 Consider the night when it departs, 33 And the dawn when it shineth forth, 34 Lo! this is one of the greatest (portents) 35 As a warning to humanity - 36 Unto him of you who will advance or hang back. 37 Every soul will be in captivity for its deeds 38 Save those who will stand on the right hand. 39 In gardens, they shall ask each other 40 From the guilty. 41 "What has brought you into the Fire of Hell ?" 42 They will answer: We were not of those who prayed 43 nor did we feed the destitute. 44 we indulged in vain arguments along with those who indulged in them; 45 and we gave the lie to the Day of Judgement 46 Till the Inevitable came unto us. 47 The intercession of the intercessors will be of no benefit to them. 48 Then what is wrong with them that they turn away from admonition, 49 as though they were terrified asses 50 Fleeing from a lion? 51 Rather each one of them desires that he should be given open Books. 52 Never! In fact they do not fear the Hereafter. 53 Nay! it is surely an admonition. 54 Let anyone who seeks guidance do so. 55 And they will not mind unless Allah please. He is worthy to be feared and worthy to forgive. 56
