I say the truth, and call the moon to witness, 32 and the night when it retreats 33 and the morning when it appears, 34 Indeed hell is one of the greatest entities. 35 As a warning to humanity - 36 A warning unto him of you who shall go forward or who chooseth to lag behind. 37 Every soul will be (held) in pledge for its deeds. 38 Except the people of the right hand, 39 [Who will be] in gardens, questioning each other 40 about the guilty ones: 41 "What led you into Hell Fire?" 42 They will say, "We were not of those who prayed, 43 And we have not been feeding the poor. 44 and we plunged along with the plungers, 45 and rejected the Day of Judgment 46 till the Certain came to us.' -- 47 So no intercession will avail them. 48 What is the matter with people that they are turning away from this Exhortation, 49 as if they were startled asses 50 Fleeing from a lion? 51 Rather each one of them desires that he should be given open Books. 52 No! But they do not fear the Hereafter. 53 Yes indeed, this is an advice. 54 Let any who will, keep it in remembrance! 55 But none will remember, unless Allah wills, He is the Owner of fear, the Owner of forgiveness. 56
