Nay! By the moon 32 By the night when it withdraweth. 33 The morning when it is unveiled, 34 That (Hell) is surely one of the greater (signs), 35 A warning to mankind,- 36 A warning unto him of you who shall go forward or who chooseth to lag behind. 37 Every soul shall be pledged for what it has earned, 38 except the people of the right hand 39 In gardens they will ask one another 40 Concerning the guilty: 41 "What has caused you to enter Hell?" 42 They will say: "We were not of those who prayed; 43 Nor did we used to feed the poor. 44 We plunged in with the plungers 45 And we used to deny the Day of Recompense 46 "Until there came to us (the death) that is certain." 47 Then there will not profit them intercesion of the interceders. 48 So what is the matter with them that they turn away from the advice? 49 like startled wild donkeys 50 Fleeing from a lion? 51 Yea, everyone of them claims that he [himself] ought to have been given revelations unfolded! 52 No, indeed they have no fear of the Everlasting Life. 53 Nay, verily, this is an admonition 54 so whoever wills shall remember it. 55 And they shall not heed unless Allah willeth. He is the Lord of piety, and the Lord of forgiveness. 56
